Romans 8: 1-11

READ: Romans 8:1-11
Get Going: Do you enjoy untangling threads and seeing the beginning from the end?
Recap: Paul has shared the intimate testimony of struggling to live to his true redeemed self. This gets picked up again in v. 2 which can be translated into:
“The Spirit of life has set me free”
Paul has a renewed mind that he wants to serve God with.
Context: Romans 8 has been described by many as the greatest chapter in the bible. It begins with “No Condemnation from God” and ends with “No Separation from God”. It is a magnificent chain of the Trinity, Father, Son, And Holy Spirit, that should inspire us to live for Him, encourage us to be willing to die for Him, and reassure us to never doubt Him.
BIG IDEA: We are not in condemnation when we are in Christ. V.1
How God wants to transform us by His Word: Is your mind set on the Spirit? V.5
“The one true God’s one true way for all the world to be right with Him”
